In 1989, my mom took me to the VW/Porsche dealership as I headed to college. I was there to look at a Jetta but couldn't take my eyes off a red 964. The salesman let me sit in the car and even gave me a sales brochure. I made up my mind I would own a new 911 one day. Fast forward 5 years, and I was purchasing my first 911... a 1985 Carrera SC coupe. Over the next 30 years, I owned 3 other 911s but still kept my dream alive. In 2023, my dream finally came true as my former college roommate (John Dissen/Hennessy) scored me a T allocation and I was able to build the car you see today.
