I remember when my friend's dad, a local dentist, purchased this 997 Turbo new from Champion Porsche. At the time, few knew how significant these 997.1 turbos would become, being the last generation of the Mezger engine and increasingly sparse 6 Speed Manual gearbox. Over the years, I would mention that I would like to be the next caretaker of this low (~13k) mileage Turbo and, in 2022, I was offered the opportunity.
