Only 122 C4 (all-wheel drive) cabriolets were made for distribution around the world in 1998 with somewhat fewer cars released to the U.S. making the surviving C4 cabriolets rare. During Porsche’s 993 production running from 1995 through 1998, they did not manufacture a wide-body “S” version of the 993 cabriolet. However, making this car very unique, it’s one of only three cars converted by Gemballa, when new, to a wide-body C4S car using factory Porsche Turbo S coupe fenders and bumpers along with side skirts and interior details by Gemballa, a leading re-imaging company of the 80's & 90's.
