1988 911 Commemorative

In 1988, Porsche unveiled the Commemorative Edition “CE” Carrera (AKA the Jubilee Edition) to celebrate the production of 250,000 911’s. Porsche built 875 of these CE cars, 300 imported to the US (120 coupes, 100 Cabriolets and 80 Targa’s), 250 were sold in Germany, 50 went to the UK, and the remainder to other countries. The CE was only offered in Damond Blue metallic, color-matched Fuchs, front/rear spoilers, special luxury carpets, “supple leather” seats embroidered with Dr. Ferdinand Porsche’s signature in the headrest. The car has not been restored, but the hood has been painted.
