Porsche built the 1967 911R as a lightweight prototype. This is how this Bob Culbertson, the 2nd owner, reimagined this 1987 944. A strict diet & other changes enabled Bob to enjoy her on street & driver education (DE) events. Bob fell ill & couldn’t enjoy her anymore. In 2023 I had the opportunity to obtain her & they are happy that she’s now mine. I use her on the street & for DE/instruction. As an instructor, I invite others to join me at such events & have them drive her to get them “hooked”. This 944R is used to introduce drivers to our world of DE & momentum cars.
