I acquired this car in May of 2005.
I am the third owner of this rare example of the first generation, non-intercooled, Turbo Carrera.
The car is production number 255 of the 717 designated for the US market.
Contributing to it's rarity is the Peru Red paint - one of 13 examples for model year 1977.
The original sport seats have been reupholstered with custom tweed inserts in 2006.
The remaining interior is the original cork leather.
