I purchased this car in 1971 and am the second owner. Shortly after the purchase, I ordered Recaro seats from the factory which were installed so I could see over the steering wheel. For 20 years, the car was used daily for commuting, shuttling kids around and on weekends for autocross and DE and PCA events. It has undergone two restorations by Karosserie in Fairfax, VA: first was installation of a new floor pan, rocker panels, front fenders and torsion tube. The second restoration was a 3 year full restoration to its original condition. I continue to use and enjoy the car.
